Job summary

Ebiquity plc in the Netherlands is looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join the Production Data Engineering Team. You will build scalable data solutions, automate pipelines, and enhance our data platform to drive better decision-making across global brands.

You will work on ETL, warehousing, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms, collaborating in a hybrid setup with a focus on quality, governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and transformation.
• Experience with ETL, data warehousing and data modeling.
• Hands-on with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• CI/CD knowledge for data engineering workflows.
• Experience with Agile & DevOps in data projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop & optimize ETL pipelines for large-scale data.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
• Work with data modeling, warehousing and integration.
• Ensure data quality, governance, monitoring and alerts.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to scalability and performance of data infra.
• Participate in Agile development and sprint planning.
• Engage in architectural discussions for long-term maintainability.
• Identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
