Job summary

pladis is seeking a Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator in Zaandam to manage end-to-end order fulfilment from entry to invoicing. You will be the link between customers, 3PL warehouses, transport partners, and internal teams such as Sales, Finance and Planning.

The role combines logistics operations with customer service, offering development across the supply chain. A university degree and 0–2 years in CS or Logistics are desirable, with strong Excel and ERP knowledge and fluency in Dutch

Qualifications

• A university degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or similar.
• 0–2 years of experience in Customer Service or Logistics (or strong internship experience).
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis).
• Understanding of transport or export documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle order entry, on-time deliveries, and correct invoicing.
• Contribute to order optimization to reduce picking and increase drop size.
• Communicate proactively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted partner for customers by providing value-added support and solutions.
• Manage complaints, claims, export files, and documentation.
• Support CS&L manager to close the month.
• Act as daily contact for 3PL and carriers and ensure service level performance.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound flows, slot bookings, and transport exceptions.
• Support operational meetings and international transport flows.
• Support the business to launch NPDs.
• Validate logistics invoices.
• Help standardize processes and improve data/reporting flows.
• Manage inventory processes and support stock accuracy.
• Monitor 3PL cost performance, KPIs, and distribution profiles.
• Identify process and cost improvements.
• Prepare co-packing planning taking into account the forecasts.
• Monitor execution from co-packer
