Job summary

Netflix in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead complex employee matters and build structured, scalable ER solutions across the business. You will partner with HRBPs, legal, and employee services to resolve performance, sickness, and disciplinary cases with fairness and legal rigour.

You will apply data-informed insights to identify trends, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement in ER practices that align with Netflix values across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of employment law and applying it to practical business solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in employee relations or HR with focus on performance management, investigations, and risk mitigation.
• Experience in the Netherlands, United Kingdom or Poland; other EMEA markets a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement scalable ER processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with sound judgment in complex situations.
• Ability to build trust across all levels and drive high-performance outcomes through accountability.

Responsibilities

• Prevention: design and embed ER guidelines and workflows that are fair, scalable, and proactive.
• Case Management: lead complex matters with timely, well-documented, legally sound outcomes.
• Data & Insights: track trends, surface risks, and measure ER impact to drive continuous improvement.
