Job summary

Intralox is seeking a Sourcing Category Manager for the Wehl area to own regional sourcing strategies for technical categories and coordinate with U.S.-based teams on globally managed suppliers.

You will lead negotiations, manage supplier performance, and drive category improvements across Europe while engaging stakeholders across functions and regions. This role emphasizes cross-cultural collaboration and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in sourcing, category management, procurement, supplier management, or a related field.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience leading supplier negotiations.
• Proven ability to build supplier relationships and improve performance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical, operational, and business teams.
• Structured, process-oriented mindset and ability to navigate a cross-regional organization.
• Fluent Dutch and English communication across cultures and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing strategies for assigned categories to maximize value and support business growth.
• Coordinate with global Category Managers on globally managed categories and shared suppliers.
• Lead supplier negotiations and contracting activities to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
• Manage supplier performance and relationships to improve quality, delivery, cost, and reliability.
• Establish and optimize sourcing processes, policies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and regions to align sourcing decisions.
• Proactively identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply-chain risks within your categories.
