Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Manager, FCC Monitoring & Testing (EMEA) to scale and govern the global financial crime monitoring program. You will validate control effectiveness across onboarding, reviews, screening, and transaction monitoring, turning testing insights into robust remediation and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative/analytical field.
• CAMS or ICA/GRC credential is preferred.
• 7+ years in FCC quality assurance, compliance monitoring, internal audit, or related control roles in fintech/payments/banking.
• Strong knowledge of financial crime controls: transaction monitoring, sanctions, KYC/KYB.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale the FCC monitoring and testing framework for the EMEA region.
• Validate design and operating effectiveness of AML/Sanctions/KYC controls across environments.
• Develop data-driven metrics to support executive decisioning and governance.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and regional leadership to close gaps.
• Prepare reporting for regulators, auditors, and banking partners.
• Represent the monitoring function during examinations and audits.
