Job summary

Stanley 1913, Amsterdam-based EMEA team, seeks a Demand Planner to forecast demand across a portfolio of 2,000+ SKUs with strong DTC/eCommerce focus. You will drive inventory optimization, collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Supply Planning, and Marketing, and influence cross-functional decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years in progressive demand planning, advanced Excel skills, Kinaxis experience, and comfort with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business or related quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive demand planning experience, preferably for DTC/eCommerce and omnichannel.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Kinaxis or similar planning applications.
• Experience with demand forecasting systems; Power BI and intermediate SQL are a plus.
• Ability to work across geographies and time zones, with up to 20% travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop demand forecasts by partnering with Sales, Commercial and Planning teams.
• Combine quantitative data with marketing, customer, promotional and market signals.
• Track forecast accuracy and reconcile exceptions to improve forecasts.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning to support inventory management.
• Review demand history, identify outliers, and make recommendations.
• Monitor KPIs like fill rate and forecast accuracy against plan.
• Manage demand forecasting for new products and NPI processes.
• Provide demand and sales insights to support decisions across functions.
• Support promotions and new product launches with aligned forecasting.
• Work with Data/CRM teams to embed customer insights into forecasts.
• Communicate risks and opportunities to stakeholders clearly.
