As an Associate Accountant in the EMEA Account to Report organization, you will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, supporting hire-to-retire and record-to-report activities.

Based in Heerlen at Medtronic's Shared Service Center, with a flexible hybrid setup (2–3 days in the office), you will collaborate with international finance teams, work on payroll, close

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Tech-savvy with automation, process improvements and data analysis tools such as Excel, SAP, Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll-related calculations and transactions including monthly payroll entries and bonuses.
• Coordinate and manage monthly financial close operations and related activities.
• Perform payroll finance and record-to-report processes with high accuracy and compliance.
• Create Balance Sheet reconciliations and validate financial information.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on financial impacts, risks and opportunities.
