Job summary

YER Technology, on behalf of DAF Trucks N.V. in Eindhoven, seeks an experienced Automotive Cyber Security leader to define, implement and validate the cyber security concept for vehicle control systems.

You will guide a team of cyber security engineers and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure robust security implementation. You will maintain cyber security process descriptions, support ASPICE compliance, and provide training within Product Development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience in cyber security, embedded software, electronics and manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Dutch preferred.
• Willing to travel internationally and coordinate with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Define Cyber Security concept and counter measures for control systems.
• Lead vehicle-level TaRA (Threat and Risk Analysis).
• Maintain the Cyber Security Roadmap and corporate guidelines.
• Align cyber security concepts with Manufacturing, Aftersales, IT and overseas teams.
• Ensure ASPICE compliance and process alignment.

Definition, implementation and supporting the validation of the Cyber Security concept on vehicle related Control Systems

As Property Owner Cyber Security you are the senior subject matter expert within Embedded Engineering and with a team of Cyber Security Engineers are responsible for the definition, implementation and supporting the validation of the Cyber Security concept on vehicle related Control Systems.You will be responsible for:

• Definition of the Cyber Security concept and resulting counter measures, considering the control system capabilities, Functional Safety and Diagnostics concept
• The vehicle level Threat and Risk Analysis (TaRA).
• Maintaining the Cysec Roadmap
• Alignment of the Cyber Security concept and the implementation with other stakeholders in the organization, e.g. Manufacturing, aftersales, North Amerika Cysec engineers and IT
• Maintaining the Corporate Design Specification “Vehicle Cyber Security” as well as Cyber Security methods, templates, and corresponding parts of the process descriptions.
• Alignment with other Cyber Security subject matter experts within PACCAR
• Day-to-day coordination of the Embedded Cyber Security team within Task management system RTC.
• Coordinating relevant outsourcing activities
• ASPICE compliance and process alignment
• Cybersecurity compliance documentation aligned with UN R155 and RMI requirements.

You will review and approve:

• Stakeholder requirement documents
• Proposals from Suppliers
• Verification Reports

You will support:

• Impact Analysis of Change Requests (CR) and Engineering Change requests (ECR)
• Root cause analyses of issues related to Cyber Security
• Simultaneous Engineering teams under the lead of a System Owner to support a successful integration in production
• Providing Cyber Security training for PACCAR Product Development
• Maintaining Cyber Security process descriptions and tools
• Cyber Security Engineer activities, including
  • Definition of Cyber Security requirements for new/updated ECU’s
  • Discuss implementation proposals with suppliers
  • Definition of the crypto service functionality within the IT infrastructure
  • Functional validation of the Cyber Security concept

We are looking for a very experienced (+10 years) professional with a proven track record in: Cyber security, embedded software development, Knowledge of Electronics and embedded engineering, manufacturing, service processes and way-of-working. Able to communicate professionally in English and preferably Dutch. A clear and assertive communicator, who can delegate and follow up easily, who is able focus on priorities only, and who can combine short term actions and long term thinking.
