Job summary

Sioux Technologies in the Netherlands is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and test software for high-tech products. From Apeldoorn or at customer sites, you will work on challenging projects across the triangle of Enschede, Zwolle and Nijmegen.

You will program in C, C++, and Rust for real-time embedded systems, design robust architectures, and collaborate with electronics and mechatronics engineers to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in technical software development.
• Experience with C, C++, Rust, Linux and embedded environments.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and Software Architecture.
• Knowledge of Electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you develop and test software for high-tech products and machines.

In this role, you support our customers in the semiconductor, analytical instrumentation, and medical equipment industries, within the triangle of Nijmegen, Enschede, and Zwolle, by delivering smart, sustainable, and reliable software solutions. Your software expertise plays an essential role in bringing these high-tech solutions to life.

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, - Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• You have at least 2–3 years of experience in technical software development
• You have experience with C, C++, Rust, Linux, and embedded environments
