Job summary

Sioux Group in the Netherlands seeks an Embedded Software Designer to develop and test real-time software for high-tech products across industries, from bare-metal C/C++ to embedded Linux. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work from the Mijdrecht office or on client sites in Randstad.

You'll implement protocols (UART, SPI, CAN, I2C), create automated tests in Python, and apply safety standards (IEC 61508, MISRA). Fluency in English and Dutch is preferred.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in computer engineering, embedded systems, or similar.
• 5 years hands-on embedded C/C++ software development experience.
• Strong grasp of real-time systems and safety-critical software.
• Passion for code quality, performance, and safety.
• Knowledge of hardware and communication protocols (UART, SPI, CAN, I2C).
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

As an Embedded Software Designer, you develop and test software for high-tech products and machines.

In this role, you support our clients in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industries mainly in the Randstad area with smart, sustainable, and reliable software solutions. Your software expertise plays a crucial role in bringing these high-tech solutions to life.

This is what you bring to the table
