Job summary

Karsten International is seeking a Product Specialist Electronics to support development and quality of consumer electronics, toys, and smart devices. You will test products, assess quality, and advise on improvements, collaborating with Buying, Quality, and Compliance to meet standards and ensure performance.

You will monitor market developments, contribute to improving existing and new products, and thrive in a fast-paced, product-driven environment where accuracy, ownership, and a practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level of thinking and working in a technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a technical or product-focused role within retail or consumer goods.
• Affinity with consumer electronics, toys, smart devices, soldering techniques, and quality control.
• Practical, accurate, analytical mindset with proactive advisory attitude.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Based in the Amsterdam area and able to work at least 80% from the office.

Responsibilities

• Test and compare product samples and advise on improvements.
• Check specifications, material quality, soldering work, and battery performance.
• Advise purchasing on technical product details and quality improvements.
• Adapt quickly to new product developments and introductions.
• Monitor trends in consumer electronics, toys, and smart devices.
