Job summary

G2 Recruitment is partnering with a consumer product client to hire a Quality Manager for the Amsterdam region. The role focuses on owning quality management across the full lifecycle, supporting new product introductions and ensuring compliance with global standards.

The successful candidate will have a background in consumer appliances or IoT hardware, strong PCB and reliability knowledge, and experience with international manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering or equivalent.
• Background in quality management for consumer appliances, electromechanical systems, automotive or IoT hardware.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, injection molding or cooling/heating technologies preferred.
• Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing, reliability engineering and electronics quality standards.
• Experience with Chinese manufacturing partners is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

G2 are working with an exciting client in the consumer product industry, who are looking for a Quality Manager to join on a permanent basis.

The client is based near to Amsterdam, Netherlands. They are a rapidly growing company specializing in consumer products, mainly focusing on the FMCG industry, and are searching for candidates with experience working with consumer appliances with complex electronics and software systems.

You will be owning quality management and full lifecycle assessment, supporting with NPI and bringing products to market. This includes ensuring the products are in line with global compliance regulations and managing risk analyses.

Key Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.

• Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing, reliability engineering, and quality standards for electronics.
