Job summary

Karsten International is seeking a Technical Manager to ensure the quality of our cosmetic and formulated products and processes. You will work with the Quality team and colleagues from Product Management and our team in China to maintain compliance with laws and optimise quality systems.

You will lead risk analyses, drive quality improvements, oversee supplier evaluations, and handle customer complaints and recalls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in quality assurance in a similar environment or a lab.
• Bachelor's degree in a related subject.
• Excellent knowledge of EU legislation for nonfood items.
• Experience with customer portals such as impact buying (i.e. SIM, TÜV, Amfori etc.)
• Experience with BRC or management systems.
• Experience setting up and implementing quality processes.
• Experience in product-safety legislation.

We are looking for a Technical Manager whose responsibility will be to ensure the quality of our cosmetic and general formulated products and processes. Together with the Quality team, including the Head of Quality, Technical Managers and Technologists, you will work closely with colleagues from Product Management and our team in China.

You will ensure that our products comply with legal requirements and follow developments in laws and regulations within the product groups in which Karsten International is active. In addition, you will optimise quality processes, perform risk analyses and advise your colleagues.

Your responsibilities
