Job summary

Emploive in Den Bosch develops high-density silicon-anode battery systems for drones and aviation. You will own the electronics chain from requirements to production handover, coordinating with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure fit and certification readiness.

You will define electronics requirements, design BMS circuits and PCBs in Altium, prototype and solder boards, and validate under thermal cycling and electrical stress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of PCB design and hardware development experience.
• Product development lifecycle experience (V-model preferred).
• Hands-on lab experience with meters, scopes and soldering iron.
• Strong Altium Designer skills: schematics, layout, BOM management.
• Experience with power electronics or BMS in low-voltage systems.
• Familiar with CE, IEC, UN38.3 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define electronics requirements from scratch with customers and stakeholders.
• Design and develop BMS circuits and PCBs; ensure power and thermal management.
• Prototype and solder boards; perform real-world validation tests.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
• Document test results and design decisions for future engineers.
