Job summary

Tulip Tech in Den Bosch is seeking an Electronics Engineer to own the electronics chain from requirements to production handover for high-density battery systems used in drones and aviation. You will design BMS circuits, PCBs, and power management, coordinating with mechanical and firmware teams to ensure the enclosure fits and vibration specs are met.

The role requires hands-on lab work, strong Altium skills, and experience with power electronics and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 2–5 years of professional PCB design and hardware development.
• Experience across full product lifecycle (concept, requirements, design, test).
• Hands-on lab experience with measurement tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering).
• Strong Altium Designer skills: schematics, layout, BOM management.
• Experience with power electronics or BMS design in low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with CE, IEC, UN38.3 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define electronics requirements from scratch based on customer and internal needs.
• Design and develop BMS circuits, PCBs, and schematics in Altium Designer.
• Prototype and solder boards; use power analyser and JTAG.
• Validate electronics under thermal cycling, vibration, and electrical stress.
• Optimize energy density, cell balancing, and power distribution.
• Ensure compliance with drone/aviation standards and documentation for certification.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams on integration.
