Job summary

Air Products in Rotterdam/Chertsey seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the European Industrial Gases electrical team, overseeing technical authority and driving safe, reliable electrical operations across sites in Europe, Central Asia, and Israel.

You will manage 10-12 engineers, mentor others, collaborate with operations and maintenance, and shape engineering standards while supporting global centers of excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with proven experience in industrial gases or similar process industries.
• Experience leading electrical engineering and design activities.
• Experience specifying inspection and condition-monitoring requirements.
• Knowledge of HV, MV, and LV systems; protection and control.
• Ability to coordinate work across engineering, operations, and maintenance.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical Engineering Team for European Industrial Gases facilities.
• Provide Technical Authority and governance for electrical systems.
• Develop, install, commission, and ensure safe operation of electrical equipment.
• Partner with operations and maintenance to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Mentor colleagues and promote electrical safety and EH&S compliance.
• Align with Global Centres of Excellence to share best practices.
