Job summary

Dott, the European leader in shared micro-mobility, is looking for an intern to work on mechanical quality issues and feature improvements. You will work in cross-functional teams to solve problems efficiently.

Responsibilities include inspecting broken parts, supporting warranty claims, and validating new parts. Candidates should be enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or similar course with hands-on experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering/Automotive course.
  • Passed all first year classes.
  • Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Provide evidence for mechanical failures to support warranty claims.
  • Review test reports and write test specifications.
  • Validate upgraded/new parts through testing.
  • Create and validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

About The Role

During your internship you will be working on mechanical quality issues on several different vehicles as well as feature improvements. You will be working in cross-functional teams to solve issues quickly and adequately.

What You’ll Do
  • Inspect and perform root cause analysis on broken parts sent by our local markets.
  • Provide evidence for mechanical failures to support warranty claims.
  • Review test reports.
  • Write test specifications.
  • Validate upgraded/new parts through testing.
  • Create and validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Evaluate current vehicle components and manage/support on feature improvements.
What You’ll Need
  • Enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering/Automotive (or similar) course (Bachelors).
  • Passed all first year classes.
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written.
  • Hands‑on experience. Hobby and/or professional.
  • Affinity with bikes/scooter/motorcycles is a plus.
