Job summary

Dott in Amsterdam is offering an internship in Global Tax Strategy and Operations to support our tax team with hands-on work contributing to corporate tax and VAT strategy, compliance and reporting.

You will gain experience alongside experienced tax professionals in a dynamic international scale-up, working with cross-functional stakeholders to improve tax processes.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, functions, data analysis).
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme, with a focus on Accounting, Controllership and/or Tax preferably final year.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and review of tax compliance deliverables across jurisdictions.
• Support data collection, analysis, and tax reporting using spreadsheets and other tools.
• Help maintain tax calendars, documentation, and internal filing accuracy.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to support tax process improvements.
• Conduct research on tax requirements and legislation that affect multinational activities.

THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT DOTT As an Intern in Global Tax Strategy and Operations, you will support our Tax team in Amsterdam with hands-on work that contributes to our global corporate tax and VAT strategy, compliance and reporting processes. You'll gain real experience in a dynamic international scale-up, working alongside experienced tax professionals and cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support strategic tax projects in the area of tax planning, tax technology implementation, supply chain management, transfer pricing and finance/tax process improvements
• Assist with the preparation and review of tax compliance deliverables across jurisdictions
• Support data collection, analysis, and tax reporting using spreadsheets and other tools
• Help maintain tax calendars, documentation, and internal filing accuracy
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to support tax process improvements
• Conduct research on tax requirements and legislation that affect multinational activities
