Job summary

Trelleborg Dordrecht B.V. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, specify, integrate and verify electrical and control systems for our products and projects.

You will create electrical diagrams, manage standard components, and coordinate suppliers to meet customer and industry standards. The role emphasizes maintainable, traceable documentation, rigorous testing, and involvement across project teams from management to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or bachelor level (HBO) with relevant experience.
• Demonstrable design and engineering experience.
• Experience with EPLAN.
• Experience with ERP software packages.

Responsibilities

• Draw up functional specifications and translate these into electrical designs.
• Create electrical diagrams in EPLAN.
• Set up, build and maintain an item database for standardised components.
• Develop standard control and electrical modules.
• Troubleshooting.
• Check and assess the quality of products supplied by Trelleborg-qualified subcontractors.
• Draw up test plans and carry out technical and functional testing independently.
• Perform integrated system tests together with the customer.
• Investigate and apply new technologies.
