Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
E-Hydro Power is seeking a junior hands-on engineer or electrical technician ready to expand knowledge in battery-powered ePTOs and EV truck interfaces. The role emphasizes practical, buildable electrical design in a rapidly evolving market.
You will work across electrical and control engineering, collaborating with Hydraulic, Mechanical and production teams, and contribute to planning, purchasing and supplier interactions in a dynamic regulatory landscape.
We are looking for a junior hands-on engineer, or an electrical technician looking to expand their knowledge.
With a 5-year track record of building battery-powered electric power take offs (ePTO), we aim to leverage the new opportunities coming with the electrical truck interfaces provided by EV truck manufacturers.
The market we operate in is evolving rapidly. The arrival of electric trucks is changing how we think about power take-offs (PTOs), opening new possibilities for powering truck bodies and trailers. These are exciting times, calling for innovative solutions and engineers who are eager to help shape them.
At E-Hydro Power, we design with the customer and operator in mind. We focus on solutions that are practical to build, easy to maintain, and simple to use, including clear controls for everyday operation.
This position requires demonstrable learning and analytical skills, as the field is very dynamic, both in regulations and industry players.
You quickly master new knowledge and possess keen analytical insight. With this, you adapt to a field where both regulations and parties in the sector are constantly changing.
You will work and progress in all aspects of modern electrical and control engineering:
HBO / WO / Bachelor in an electrical field, with a thirst for expanding your horizon; be it from research to production, electrical to software, local to cloud applications.
You are well versed in workplace safety, as you often work with dangerous voltage levels and heavy equipment.
You enjoy figuring out how things work and turning ideas into practical solutions. You have taken a project from an initial idea to a working result, whether through your studies, a personal project, or work experience.
Your main focus is electrical engineering, and you take a flexible, practical approach to your work. You are willing to support related activities such as purchasing, production preparation, and assembly when needed.
You enjoy turning complex technology into practical solutions that are intuitive and easy to use.
We offer a market-competitive salary, 25 days of annual leave based on full-time employment, and participation in Pensioenfonds Metaal en Techniek (PMT).
You will have the opportunity to work with leading companies in the industry and expand your knowledge through hands-on experience in electrical engineering.
At E-Hydro Power, people from all backgrounds are welcome in an inclusive workplace where different perspectives are valued and everyone has the opportunity to grow.
We encourage continued professional development in your field and support relevant education and training.
