Job summary

NES Fircroft is recruiting an EHS Supervisor for a major Carbon Capture Storage project at the Port of Rotterdam. This long-term contract role requires supporting construction and commissioning activities, reporting to the Project EHS Manager, and working 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

You will lead EHS risk assessments, incident investigations, and permit-to-work processes, while promoting a strong safety culture across project personnel and contractors.

Qualifications

• EHS supervision experience on large projects.
• Experience with EHS management systems in industrial settings.
• Fluent/strong Dutch; English skills preferred.
• Capacity to work under pressure and influence teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS leadership to the project team and site.
• Champion EHS process application to improve performance.
• Support risk assessments, incident investigations, and PTW.
• Assist Project Managers and site teams on safety, health, and risk.
• Implement site EHS plans per the PDO EHS system and project needs.
• Coordinate with contractors to meet contract EHS requirements.
• Train personnel on company EHS policies and tools.
• Interface with EHS groups to share best practices and lessons learned.
• Participate in Project EHS Leadership Team meetings.
• Contribute to site performance reporting and case management.
