Job summary

Salter Grange seeks an EHS Advisor to oversee environmental, health and safety on a Groningen data centre project. You will implement EHS systems, coordinate risk assessments, and drive improvements on site while advising management, supervisors and subcontractors.

With at least 3 years on-site experience and solid knowledge of EHS legislation, you will lead toolbox talks, audits and incident investigations, ensuring compliance and continuous safety enhancements across the project team.

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level certificate in environmental, health and safety.
• At least 3 years' site experience.
• Thorough knowledge of current EHS legislation.
• Ability to manage environmental, health and safety issues on site.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• EU passport preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain EHS management systems and safety statements for the project.
• Coordinate method statements, risk assessments, safe plans of action and permits to work.
• Carry out site audits and inspections; document reports and action plans.
• Manage COSHH assessments and records for tools and plant inspections.
• Coordinate site induction and training; issue PPE and deliver toolbox talks.
• Assist with accident investigations and reporting to management.
• Report EHS risks and indicators at site meetings; advise management and staff.
• Ensure subcontractors follow EHS policies and maintain welfare facilities and recycling programmes.
