Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd in Amsterdam seeks an experienced EHS Lead to oversee environmental, health and safety across the project lifecycle for our data centre constructions. You will shape policies, run risk assessments, and foster a proactive safety culture on site.

The role requires 7–10 years in EHS on large-scale construction, NEBOSH or IOSH, and strong leadership and stakeholder engagement. You will lead RAMS reviews, incident investigations, inductions, and on-site training while

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or similar discipline.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certifications are essential.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS activities across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and monitor EHS policies and systems.
• Promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with PMs, Construction Managers and subcontractors on EHS practices.
• Ensure RAMS documentation is reviewed and approved.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks.
• Maintain records of incidents, audits, and safety metrics.
• Attend site meetings and project reviews; report to senior management.
