Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd is seeking a dedicated EHS Advisor for a site-based role in Amsterdam. The candidate will support the Project management team and the Site Health & Safety lead, ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation and Winthrop safety plans.

Responsibilities include reviewing method statements, risk assessments and permits to work, conducting audits, and coordinating inductions and toolbox talks to uphold safety standards across multiple turnkey data

Qualifications

Relevant third level degree in Health & Safety.
3+ years’ experience on large construction sites.
Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation.
Flexibility in working patterns where necessary.
Ability to efficiently manage all EH&S issues on site.
Strong communication & computer skills.

Responsibilities

Assist or carry out accident investigations and communicate results to project management.
Carry out regular site audits and inspections, document results and follow up on corrective actions.
Maintain records of statutory inspections and ensure they are available for project activities.
Ensure sub-contractors adhere to project and group EHS policies and procedures.
Coordinate Winthrop induction & training, and carry out toolbox talks as necessary.
Attend daily activity briefings and site meetings.
Support the Project management team and Site Health & Safety lead.
Compliance with project execution plans and safety management systems.
