Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is recruiting an Electrical Construction Manager to lead on-site activities for an Amsterdam data centre project.

You will develop detailed construction plans, coordinate equipment procurement, and manage contractor performance to meet schedule and quality targets. The role requires 8+ years in an M&E contractor, a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification, and strong leadership, communication and cost-control skills to ensure safety and on-time delivery on large

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in a similar role within an M&E contractor.
Electrical engineering qualification is required.
Data Centre experience is advantageous.
Strong organisational, communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Developing a detailed construction plan, including scheduling and resource allocation.
Coordinating the acquisition of equipment, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards.
Managing contractors, overseeing work, and ensuring safety regulations compliance.
Implementing quality control to meet standards and specifications.
Monitoring project costs and keeping the project within budget.
Overseeing timelines and ensuring installation work is completed on time.
Identifying risks and issues that could affect the project.
Facilitating communication between client, contractors and stakeholders.
Maintaining records of project activities and changes.
Ensuring adherence to building codes, permits, and legal requirements.
