Job summary

Flynn is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Advisor to join project teams in the Netherlands. You will establish and direct the implementation of the EHS strategy on projects, maintaining a positive safety culture and leading in health, safety and environmental compliance.

Reporting to the EHS Lead, you will guide on policies, conduct audits, manage risk and deliver EHS training while coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders across large-scale commercial/construction

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in EHS or a related discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience working on large scale commercial/construction projects.
• Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Conscientious, highly focused and detail orientated.
• Self-starter and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.
• Full clean driver’s license preferable.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Health & Safety Guidance: Implement Flynn’s EHS policies and provide guidance on all health and safety matters.
• Policies, Procedures & Documentation: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining EHS documentation.
• Inspections, Audits & Reporting: Conduct site inspections and audits and prepare reports.
• Risk Management & Incident Reporting: Complete risk assessments and ensure incidents and accidents are investigated.
• Training & Communication: Identify training needs and deliver EHS training sessions.
• Subcontractor & Stakeholder Management: Ensure subcontractor compliance with EHS standards.
