Job summary

Checkout.com in Amsterdam is seeking a focused Account Manager to manage a portfolio of direct merchants across the EEA. You’ll be the trusted advisor and main contact, helping merchants navigate our payments platform and unlock growth.

You’ll build relationships across markets, identify cross-sell opportunities, and collaborate with Sales, Product, and Risk teams to ensure delivery and satisfaction in a fast-paced, globally connected fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in B2B Account Management or a similar commercial role.
• Strong written and verbal English; German/Spanish/Italian a plus.
• Evidence of identifying growth opportunities and driving revenue impact.
• Experience managing strategic or complex accounts across markets.

Responsibilities

• Own high-touch relationships with a focused portfolio of merchants across the EEA.
• Act as the main point of contact for queries across Checkout.com’s products.
• Develop account plans by understanding each merchant’s model and priorities.
• Identify cross-sell, upsell and expansion opportunities.
• Lead pricing discussions and coordinate cross-functional project work.
• Use data and forecasting to provide credible recommendations.
