Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (EDW Migrations) to lead migrations of legacy data warehouses to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform across EMEA. You will design scalable migration processes, develop technical guides, and deliver compelling demonstrations for field teams and customers.

You will mentor regional Solutions Architects, work with product and engineering to feed back lessons, author whitepapers, and present at industry forums to position Databricks as the premier

Qualifications

8+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, architect, or consulting roles.
Experience with legacy EDW systems and migrating workloads to cloud.
Strong ability to design scalable migration strategies and assets.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage executives.

Responsibilities

Lead regional migration strategy for large-scale EDW migrations to the Databricks Platform.
Architect programmatic, scalable migration processes and detailed guides.
Develop assessment tooling and technical assets for field teams.
Act as tier-3 escalation point for complex migrations across EMEA.
Mentor regional Solutions Architects and Specialist SAs to scale the practice.
Provide feedback loops to Product Management and Engineering.
Contribute to industry thought leadership through whitepapers and talks.
