Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) in Amsterdam to work with customers on their data and AI challenges. The role includes building and productionizing solutions, leading technical projects, and owning architectural decisions.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in data engineering, familiarity with Apache Spark™, and strong programming skills. This hands-on position offers the chance to significantly impact client success while working collaboratively with various teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data engineering or software engineering.
• Comfortable writing code in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark™.
• Experience with technical project delivery managing scope and timelines.
