Job summary

Futurewhiz in the Netherlands offers an internship in the Efficacy Lab, focusing on evaluating distractor options for MCQs using AI. You will design experiments, collect data, and measure learning outcomes to improve Squla and StudyGo.

You will work with Education, Content Generation, data scientists and software engineers, applying psychometrics, ML, and data analysis. Mentorship is provided with a monthly €450 allowance in a hybrid setup near Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA.

Qualifications

• Background in Psychometrics, Educational Sciences, (Behavioural) Data Science, AI, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong statistical background and experience in experimental design and metric development.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Methodology development: Research, design, and develop robust quantitative and qualitative methodologies for measuring efficacy of distractor answers.
• Content creation: Implement research by assisting Education and Content Generation teams with methodologies and distractor answers.
• Collaboration: Work with Education, Content Generation, data scientists and software engineers to implement experiments and interpret findings.
• State-of-the-art research: Explore contemporary methodologies related to distractor design leveraging current literature.
