Job summary

Futurewhiz is seeking a Medior AI Product Engineer to build practical AI-powered tools for educational content creation. You will own software from prototype to production, collaborating with editors and developers in a hybrid Amsterdam setting.

You will work across Python services, data flows, and user interfaces, using AI tools judiciously and shaping publish workflows. Travel to Groningen may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and shipping web applications.
• Proficiency in Python and moving between backend, frontend and infrastructure.
• Active and critical use of AI tools to improve work.
• Interest in LLM-powered products and model APIs.
• Product-centric thinking: define problems, options, and tests.
• Ability to move quickly and responsibly when exploring ideas.
• Autonomy to own well-defined problems and collaborate with non-technical colleagues.
• Ability to explain technical choices to non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in education and improving learning material workflows.
