Job summary

Futurewhiz, based in Amsterdam, is seeking a Medior AI Product Engineer to join the Content Automation team. You will collaborate with editors and engineers to improve publishing workflows for textbooks and digital content, building AI-assisted applications from prototype to production.

You will work across Python services, data flows, interfaces and infrastructure, while shaping LLM-driven workflows and safeguarding practices. Travel to Groningen every couple of months is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping web applications.
• Ability to move between backend, frontend and infrastructure work.
• Familiarity with AI tools and model APIs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and own AI-assisted applications from prototype to production.
• Develop across the stack: Python services and APIs, data flows, interfaces and infra.
• Improve LLM/agent workflows, prompts and safeguards.
• Run small experiments to validate ideas before larger builds.
