Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking a Commercially driven Sales Intern in Amsterdam to gain hands-on experience across new and existing business. You will work with Account Executives and account management professionals to identify growth opportunities within BeNeLux, while building relationships with customers and maintaining CRM data.

The role offers exposure to prospecting, conversations, and end-to-end sales activities.

Qualifications

• Fluent Dutch language skills (written & spoken).
• Resident of the Netherlands, preferably Amsterdam.
• Internship duration of at least 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Support both new business and existing customer growth.
• Identify potential new customers and commercial opportunities.
• Engage with prospects and existing customers through phone, email, and other sales channels.
• Help identify customer needs, upsell opportunities, and potential areas for growth.
• Support the sales and account management teams throughout different stages of the customer journey.
• Follow up on commercial opportunities and help move them forward.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in CRM tools.
• Learn how to manage a commercial pipeline and work towards individual and team targets.
