Job summary

Lightspeed seeks a commercially driven Sales Intern to gain hands‑on experience across new and existing business. You will work with Account Executives to identify opportunities and support relationships with customers.

The role offers exposure to prospecting, conversations, needs analysis, and data management in the CRM, with gradual ownership and clear progression into Sales, Account Management or Business Development.

Qualifications

• Fluent Dutch speaker, written and spoken.
• Based in the Netherlands, preferably Amsterdam.
• Internship position minimum 4 months.
• Strong communication and a commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support both new business and existing customer growth.
• Research and identify potential new customers and opportunities.
• Engage with prospects and existing customers via phone, email and other channels.
• Identify needs, upsell opportunities and growth areas.
• Assist sales and account teams through various stages of the journey.
• Follow up on opportunities and move them forward.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate data in CRM systems and pipelines.
• Learn to manage a commercial pipeline and work toward targets.
