Job summary

Hunkemöller in Hilversum is offering the Best Internship in Retail (BIIR) starting September 2026. You will join 50+ interns and gain hands-on experience in recruiting, candidate experience, and employer branding within our inspiring brand.

You will work 40 hours per week, be mentored by a buddy, and receive a monthly internship allowance of 450€ gross plus travel support. Fluent Dutch and English are required, and you should be studying HR, psychology, or a related field.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, HBO, or Master’s program, ideally in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
Fluent in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
Tech-savvy with an analytical mindset and a proactive approach.
Fast learner, able to work with multiple tools; Excel, Workday and other talent platforms.
Strong communication skills and comfortable taking initiative.
Participation in extracurricular activities during studies or prior HR-related experience is a plus.
Available for 40 hours per week.
Please note: writing a thesis during this internship is not possible.

Responsibilities

Assist in hiring interns for the September 2026 BIIR program.
Support recruitment of new store employees who embody our brand values.
Be part of a transformation in our candidate experience project.
Post, publish, and promote vacancies with the right tone for each audience.
Communicate daily with future talent to guide them toward their dream job.
Coordinate with store managers, manage the recruitment inbox, and handle inquiries.
