Job summary

FedEx is seeking a detail-oriented team player in the Netherlands to support customs clearance activities. You will review shipments, complete lawful clearance declarations, and communicate with customers and authorities to ensure accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory understanding, and strong customer service within a fast-paced office setting. Applicants should have excellent Dutch language skills, be able to work in a team, and bring knowledge of Import/Export

Qualifications

• Excellent command of Dutch language (spoken and written).
• Good teamwork skills in a busy office environment.
• Experience or working knowledge of clearance principles, Import/Export processes and CHIEF entries is desired.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to make sound numerical decisions under tight deadlines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good Microsoft Office and PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Review shipments data to understand exact customer and regulatory requirements and check documentation for accuracy.
• Use in-house systems to create accurate and legally compliant clearance declarations.
• Contact customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed.
• Resolve routine customer and customs disputes.
• Build effective relationships with customers and help them choose best clearance services.
