Job summary

Qualifications

• Dutch language proficiency is required for both spoken and written communication.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to contribute in a busy office environment.
• Experience or working knowledge of clearance principles, Import/Export processes and CHIEF entries is desirable.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to make sound numerical decisions under tight deadlines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good Microsoft Office and PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Review shipments data to understand customer and regulatory requirements and check documentation completeness.
• Use in-house systems to create accurate and legally compliant clearance declarations.
• Contact customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed.
• Resolve routine customer and customs disputes.
• Build effective relationships with customers and help them choose the best clearance services.
• Work within tight time frames in a busy office environment.
