Job summary

Centre People Appointments is seeking an Accounting Manager in Amsterdam to take ownership of accounting, tax and reporting for multiple Dutch entities. You will lead a small finance team, oversee monthly closings, consolidation reporting and audits, and ensure tax compliance in a multinational setting.

The ideal candidate holds a professional accounting qualification and is fluent in Dutch and English, with strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP, IFRS and payroll processes.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification with post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP, IFRS and Dutch corporate taxation.
• Experience with payroll administration.
• Experience using SAP and/or Exact accounting systems.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a small accounting team.
• Manage monthly and quarterly closing processes and management reporting.
• Prepare and review consolidation reporting packages.
• Coordinate annual audits and prepare statutory financial statements.
• Oversee Dutch corporate tax, VAT, payroll and compliance activities.
• Maintain SAP and Exact accounting systems and support finance projects.
