Dutch Sales Engineer: Air Technology Solutions

Job summary

JN Recruitment is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our client's team in the Netherlands. You will promote the full range of air technology solutions, develop new business, and nurture existing customer relationships across the Dutch market.

You’ll visit client sites, assess needs, interpret technical drawings, and collaborate with engineering to prepare compelling offers. Expect 2–3 days of travel weekly within the Netherlands and occasional trips to Belgium, with Dutch and English fluency

Qualifications

• Commercially driven with a strong technical affinity.
• Experience in industrial or B2B environments; familiarity with air technology is a strong advantage.
• Able to read technical drawings and contribute to solution calculations.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Willing to travel ~2–3 days per week across the Netherlands and once per month to Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company, promoting air technology solutions in the Dutch market.
• Develop new business while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
• Visit client sites to assess needs and gather technical details for project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and project management to define and calculate offers.
• Prepare and present offers, manage follow-ups, and close deals.
• Support smooth project handover to engineers and assist during execution.
• Maintain client relationships and provide post-sale support as needed.
• Report to Sales Manager and coordinate with local and HQ teams.
