Job summary

Obsidian is hiring bilingual Dutch and English speakers in the Netherlands to help improve the safety of advanced AI models. You will write expert prompts in Dutch, apply structured guidelines, classify prompts and conversations, and document the reasoning behind your judgments.

Starting immediately, you must be based in the Netherlands, have native-level Dutch (Netherlands variety) and business‑level English, and hold a bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress). Training will be provided.

About the role

We're hiring proficient bilingual speakers (English & Dutch) based in the Netherlands to help make advanced AI models safer. You'll apply your language fluency and cultural judgment to evaluate and strengthen how these models handle sensitive topics in Dutch as it is spoken in the Netherlands. No prior AI/ML experience is required — we'll train you on the workflow.

What you'll do

• Write expert-level prompts in Netherlands Dutch across a range of sensitive subject areas.

• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.

• Flag adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns, and document the reasoning behind your judgments.

What we're looking for

• Native or near-native fluency in Dutch as spoken in the Netherlands, plus business-level written English.

• Currently based in the Netherlands. This role covers the Netherlands variety of Dutch specifically; a separate role covers Belgian Dutch.

• A bachelor's degree, completed or in progress.

• Strong written reasoning and a high level of attention to detail.

• Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information.

Nice to have

• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content.

• Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.
