Job summary

Avantor is seeking an HR Leader Netherlands to partner with managers and employees across the Dutch organization in a hybrid, full-time role. You will help shape the future of HR by driving complex employee relations, Works Council engagement, and the transition to self-service and shared services.

Native Dutch and fluent English are required, with proven HR generalist experience in a large international matrix.

Qualifications

Solid HR generalist experience in a complex, international matrix organization.
Proven experience with Works Council (OR) processes in the Netherlands and sickness absence management.
Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law, GDPR, and HR compliance.
Experience driving HR transformation toward self-service and shared services.

Responsibilities

Act as primary HR partner for managers and employees on complex people matters.
Independently manage employee relations cases from consultation to resolution.
Guide managers through sickness absence cases ensuring legal compliance.
Lead Works Council consultations and stakeholder communications.
Drive HR transformation and adoption of self-service and ServiceNow.
Deliver local HR initiatives: performance management, compensation cycles, engagement.
