Job summary

uButler in Amsterdam is expanding its Operations team and seeks a Housing Expert to guide international hires through the Dutch rental market. You will provide strategic guidance, hands-on support, and 1:1 consultancy to help users build strong housing profiles and secure great listings.

You will manage expectations with market insights, assist with viewings (including attending in person when needed), and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service across the relocation journey.

Qualifications

• Proven experience or knowledge of the rental housing market in the Netherlands.
• Experience in operations, housing services, customer success, or similar roles.
• Excellent communication with a consultative and supportive approach.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• : guiding users on how to approach the rental housing market
• : providing support around expectation management based on market trends
• : assessing and advising on the quality of housing profiles to improve appeal
• : helping users increase the number of relevant listings they can access
• : providing 1:1 consultancy and ongoing question support
• : applying to viewings on behalf of users as part of our service
• : optionally attending viewings in person
• : sharing resources and tools to help users feel confident during viewings
• : working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
