Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden seeks a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor – Equipment Engineering DSP to lead and grow the Equipment Engineering team. You will own equipment lifecycle, drive improvements, and ensure safe, compliant operations across downstream processing.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation and Automation to deliver robust equipment performance and implement CAPEX initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; 9 and/or 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments (pharma/biotech).
• Understanding of GMP and equipment qualification/lifecycle principles.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the DSP Equipment Engineering team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Own lifecycle management of DSP manufacturing equipment and ensure safety, compliance and reliability.
• Provide direction for equipment-related investigations, improvements and CAPEX projects.
• Drive problem solving and root-cause analysis for recurring equipment issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, Automation and Process Engineering to translate priorities into technical solutions.
