Job summary

NXP Semiconductors N.V. is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Equipment and Process Engineering group. You will maintain, initiate and implement technical improvements, drive tool process performance, and contribute to product quality, throughput, and cost savings.

This role involves hands-on problem solving in a multi-disciplinary fab and collaborating with Manufacturing, QA and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable production.

Qualifications

• Preferably experience in a high-tech/semiconductor environment.
• Preferably experience with plasma based processing.
• Knowledge of complex production processes.
• Languages: Dutch and English.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, SPC, FMEA and Quality Management Systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and provide up-to-date procedures and processes meeting safety and quality requirements.
• Connect with Manufacturing and transfer improvement ideas to actions until implemented.
• Contribute to improvement projects using technical knowledge.
• Define required quantity and ensure availability of production tools; initiate upgrades and support maintenance.
• Coordinate quality-related escalations to customers and support production progress.
