Job summary

NXP Semiconductors N.V. is seeking a Process Engineer to join its EPE team at the Nijmegen site in the Netherlands.

You will maintain and improve manufacturing processes, tackle complex problems, and drive quality, throughput and cost improvements across CMOS, BIMOS, RFCMOS and SOI lines. The role emphasizes problem analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and implementation of robust process enhancements with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Physics, Chemistry or other relevant technical area.
• Experience in a high-tech/semiconductor environment.
• Experience with plasma based processing.
• Languages: Dutch and English.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, statistical process control, FMEA and Quality Management Systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and provide up-to-date procedures and processes, meeting safety and quality requirements and compliant with standards.
• Proactively connect with Manufacturing and transfer improvement ideas into actions until implemented.
• Use technical knowledge to contribute in improvement projects.
• Define required quantity and ensure availability of production tools; initiate upgrades and support maintenance actions; address safety issues.
• Coordinate quality-related escalations to customers and support Manufacturing in keeping production progress.
