Job summary

NXP Semiconductors N.V. in the Netherlands is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Equipment and Process Engineering (EPE) organization. You will maintain and implement technical improvements to optimize fab performance and product quality.

The role involves solving complex process problems, driving throughput gains, reducing scrap and costs, and coordinating with Manufacturing to implement actions. A BSc or MSc in Physics, Chemistry or a related field is required, with experience in

Qualifications

BSc. or MSc. level in Physics, Chemistry or other relevant technical area.
Experience in a high-tech/semiconductor environment.
Languages: Dutch and English.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, statistical process control, FMEA and Quality Management Systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

Maintain and provide up-to-date procedures and processes that meet safety and quality requirements and compliance standards.
Transfer improvement ideas and drive actions to successful implementation with cross-functional teams.
Contribute to improvement projects using technical knowledge and experience.
Ensure availability of production tools, upgrades, maintenance, and safety issue resolution.
Coordinate quality-related escalations and support manufacturing progress.
