Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in the Netherlands seeks an Industrial Systems Engineer to drive multi‑process improvements in a high‑volume manufacturing setting. You will partner with area teams to identify opportunities and develop solutions spanning engineering, operations, and IT.

Collaboration with Nijmegen, Chandler, and Austin teams will ensure a consistent approach. The role emphasizes Lean/Six Sigma, data analysis, and the deployment of IE systems.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Engineering; MS preferred.
• 1–2 years in semiconductor-related engineering fields is advantageous.
• Experience deploying Lean principles and methods is advantageous.
• Experience in Fab Automation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Area teams to understand operations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Apply Scrum and Agile approaches to projects.
• Maintain accurate area production management systems (Capacity Modelling, RTD Dispatch, Fab Scheduling, Forecasting).
• Improve factory equipment OEE to boost cycle-time and capacity with minimal investment.
• Enhance labor productivity by deploying Lean methods and best practices.
• Communicate objectives to area teams with clear goals linked to factory targets.
• Engage in strategic capacity planning for equipment and staffing.
• Collaborate with teams in Nijmegen, Chandler, and Austin to standardize approaches.
• Define requirements and test IE systems and software solutions.
• Explore AI/ML, GenAI, and LLM applications for operations.
