Job description

Celoria Recruitment Solutions is recruiting experienced Dock Workers for ship repair and maintenance work in the Rotterdam area, Netherlands.

The role includes docking and undocking vessels, propeller replacement, minor welding and metalwork, repairs to propulsion and steering systems, installation of propeller shaft systems, damage repairs, dock and slipway maintenance, and work on the slipway, in the dock and at the quay.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dock Worker or in a similar ship repair, shipyard, harbour or vessel maintenance role.

Experience with docking, welding, metalwork and technical repairs is required, together with basic technical understanding of ship systems.

The gross hourly salary is €16 to €19 per hour, with an approximate net salary of €590 to €700 net per week based on the provided job conditions.

The job is full-time, 38 hours per week.

Benefits and arrangements

• Accommodation is arranged in an apartment with a private room in the Rotterdam area.
• Transport is available by company car or by own car with a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre.
