Celoria Recruitment Solutions in Amsterdam is recruiting experienced Steelworkers, Cable Tray Fitters and Steel Fitters for full-time shipbuilding work in the Netherlands. Job description

Celoria Recruitment Solutions is recruiting experienced Steelworkers, Cable Tray Fitters and Steel Fitters for full-time shipbuilding work in the Amsterdam area, the Netherlands. This role is suitable for candidates who can read technical drawings, install and modify cable tray systems, work independently on shipbuilding projects and deliver clean, high-quality steelwork. Tasks include measuring and positioning components accurately before and during assembly, assembling pre-fabricated metal parts and constructions based on technical drawings, performing basic welding activities such as tack welding, and carrying out grinding and cutting work. Candidates should have experience as a Steelworker, Cable Tray Fitter, Steel Fitter, Metal Fitter, Construction Fitter or similar role, be able to read technical drawings, work accurately with steel constructions and cable tray systems, and be comfortable in a shipbuilding or industrial project environment.

The salary is €600 to €800 net per week. Free accommodation is included. Transport support is available, with the exact arrangement confirmed during the recruitment process. The position is full-time and intended for candidates looking for stable, long-term work in the Netherlands.

Experience as a Steelworker, Cable Tray Fitter, Steel Fitter, Metal Fitter, Construction Fitter or similar role. Ability to read technical drawings and work from assembly instructions. Experience with cable tray systems, steel constructions, metal assembly or shipbuilding work. Able to measure, position, grind, cut and assemble metal parts accurately. Basic tack welding experience is useful for this role. Able to work independently and deliver clean, high-quality steelwork. Comfortable working in a shipbuilding or industrial project environment. Reliable, safety-conscious and practical working attitude. Basic English is usually needed for communication on the project and with the recruiter. Valid right to work in the Netherlands, such as an EU passport or ID card, or a valid Dutch work permit.
