Job summary

Fortinet seeks an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimize our warehouse fulfillment operations in Almere. You will ensure accurate inbound/outbound handling, compliance with working time regulations, and strong team leadership.

Responsibilities include staffing, process improvement, KPI monitoring, safety, and cross-functional coordination to align operations with business goals. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in logistics/warehouse management,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
Minimum 3 years in warehouse operations, logistics, or distribution management.
Familiarity with labor compliance for holidays, Sundays, and daily overtime regulations.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse fulfillment activities: receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, returns.
Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
Maintain compliance with local labor laws and internal policies on overtime, Sunday work, and holidays.
Develop staffing schedules for peak volumes and seasonal fluctuations.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize space, flow, labor, and system use.
Establish and enforce SOPs to drive consistency and accountability.
Monitor KPIs: pick accuracy, fulfillment rates, cycle times, inventory accuracy.
Enforce workplace safety, cleanliness, and environmental standards.
Train, coach, and supervise warehouse staff; foster high-performance culture.
Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to align with business goals.
Maintain accurate inventory transactions and shipment records.
